SPOTLIGHT ON SERVICE:

What is the Spotlight on Service Program? The Spotlight on Service Program is a program designed to motivate clubs and give them the opportunity to participate in the monthly focus to help make a difference. For the month of August, the SOSP is focusing on Children’s Education.

Why Is education important? Education is what allows people to discover their talents, skills, and wonderful ideas. It also helps us build our own opinions and view points. Learning basic information can make us more aware about our surroundings and what is happening around us .

What can you do to help? 

Donate book and school supplies

the path to see us offering an award. I loved sharing the moments of joy with the runners who were accomplished and felt proud of themselves. Afterwards, some of my fellow Key Club members and I joined in the fun of the event.

Japanese Bazaar: My time volunteering at the Buddhist Church Bazaar was an unique experience. we were assigned to the boba booth and were tasked with many responsibilities. From working at the cash register to delivering drinks, it allowed us (key club)

to cooperate with one another. Not only were we able to support the local community but we also gained work experience. As for me, I was able to get a glimpse of real world responsibilities and look forward to volunteering her again.
