Happy SPOOKtober! I would like to say thank you again to everyone who has been reading “Monster’s Monthly Roar”! I really appreciate you and this amazing club that I’m thankful to be apart of. 1. California Capital Airshow October 5th: Volunteers were cashiers and greeters providing guests with warm welcome while handling directional flags for parking control.

Members made friendship bracelets to donate to the Children’s Miracle Network!

Volunteers helped set up, cheer on the runners, passed out waters, and cleaned up after the event!

Sacramento River Parkway Winter Cleanup Location: Garcia Bend Park Task: Volunteers will be assisting in cleaning up the Sacramento River area.

Time: 6:30AM - 11:00AM

Purplestride Sacramento 2019 SAT NOVEMBER 9TH

Location: William Land Park Task: Volunteers will set up, help with registration, manage food & drink stations , and clean up.

Time: 6:30AM - 11:00AM

California Capital Airshow

The California Capital Airshow was a successful event in collaboration with different organizations/volunteer groups. Sheldon Key Club was assigned to direct traffic at different entry points. I liked the event a lot!

Tue Truong– Freshman

Tue is the only freshman, yet already two months into the school year, she has attended many service events. She is a freshman with the most service hours out of her freshman class. Tue is never afraid to ask questions and because of that, she stands out as a prominent freshman, willing to learn about key

Kevin Salimo– Sophomore Kevin, like most of Sheldon’s board is involved in many campus extracurricular, yet always manages to attend service events and complete the MRF. He plays a vital role as secretary, keeping meeting minutes and overall contributing to board discussions!

Congratulations to Mr. Wolfe for getting recognized for Kiwanis Advisor of the month at the October DCM! Thank you for all that you do!
