Dior sneakers edit
Whether you are a heels or a sneaker person why not switch it up. With autumn / winter approaching it might be time to update the wardrobe with some sneakers. A sneaker can be dressed up or down and can even look great with a dress and more formal outfits. Dior certainly reflects this style and can add elegance to a more casual or sporty ensemble.
These new offerings from Dior are sure to be a great addition to your wardrobe.
The chunky Dior–ID sneakers have a modern sporty look and would look great with jeans. The Dior name features on the tongue of the shoe, the side straps and the back, and the gold adds a contrast to the other colours. Accessorize with matching gold jewellery like a pair of hoops.

Another sneaker release from Dior, the D-connect is a slip-on style that is modern and uniquely Dior.
As seen on Maria Grazia Chiuri’s 2022 Resort collection, the D-Connect reflects the sentiment that comfort is key. Chiuri said “Sport is movement, sport is freedom. During lockdown, you would walk around your building just to get a sense of moving your body. That became our idea of freedom,”
This can be seen in the runway looks:

Why not pair the sneakers with a biker short and saddle bag / crossover strap bag for a comfortable outfit. Or why not wear with leggings as shown above. Since the shoe is made with an elastic fabric and has a thick rubber sole it can add height and the silhouette gives a streetwear vibe while the navy colour is distinctly Dior. You can also wear the sneakers with a maxi / midi dress as seen on the runway!

And finally, but not least, the oblique / canvas print sneaker. There are high top and low top options, and these sneakers has a more relaxed silhouette. However, they are embellished in the /Dior oblique motif.
The oblique pattern was created by Marc Bohan in 1967 and was revealed for the first time on a bag from the Haute Couture collection. It was also used to cover the floor and steps of the Dior Monsieur boutique in 1974. It then became revisited by John Galliano in a streetwear style for the 2004 campaign. Since then, it’s been featured on the saddle bag, book tote bag and sneakers like these from the 2021 collection:

Pair them with a pair of trousers – wide leg or straight, or jeans. The red canvas adds a pop pf colour to a neutral outfit as styled bellow:
