Hannah Zavala Interior Designer
As a new interior designer entering the industry, I am eager to gain experience working with a team to grow and apply our creative skill sets to bring inspiring and functional spaces throughout our communities. I am looking forward to gaining more knowledge in the profession that I have loved since I was six years old. Instead of writing in my notebook, I was drawing out floorplans. My passion for designing and creating new spaces can be shown through my designs in commercial as well as residential spaces. I can’t wait to see where this journey will lead me.

Flagship Store
Designing an immersive brand experience to create sense of memory and bring a brand to life. Pink House is a clothing store boutique that was inspired by Kylie Jenner's closet. This boutique gives a rich and luxury feel to create a unique shopping experience that allow people to feel and be them true selves.

The cafe is right off of the shopping area in hopes to keep the shoppers in the building longer. Those going in just for coffee have a better chance of buying something.
The shopping space is supposed to give shoppers the feeling that they are walking into a luxury walk-in closet. Tall curtains are to make the space feel darker like a closet.
Mezzanine lounge provides seating by the balcony over looking the downstairs shopping area so shoppers still feel apart of the Pink House experience.

Single and family pods made from shipping containers were designed for woman and children of domestic violence. Each pod was designed with them in mind to help them go from a state of fear to hope. Pods were built surrounded by a gated fence to give peace of mind. Not only were pods designed but a whole community to get woman and children a chance at a safer and brighter future.

For this residential townhouse we were assigned a classmate to be our client and design based off of their wants and needs. This residential townhouse was designed for my classmate and her boyfriend. She wanted a bright neutral and minimalistic space. She also requested the first level office also be served as a guest bedroom for when her family comes over.

The Room
Through my point of impact- light pollution, I designed a room that will positively influence and inform the younger generation about the impacts of light pollution. Children and young adults will be able to observe and be informed about light pollution through our dome projector while reclined back to observe the effects of light pollution. Afterwards there will be a multi use gathering space where groups of individuals reflect with each other and have discussions. I want everyone to leave with a lasting impression and impact on their minds. .
