We’re excited to share our next project: the first-ever CheoyongMu UNESCO World Heritage Performance in Canada, set for May 2025! This initiative is led by Coquitlam Heritage and KTV Kedia Production Inc (KTV).
KTV produces Canada’s national Korean TV Show (OMNI TV), Radio Show (FM96.1), and is a CRTC-licensed documentary film producer. Our community newspaper, Korean News, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
The CheoyongMu performance, a UNESCO-recognized Korean mask dance, will be brought to Vancouver in the theatre and broadcast nationwide via our TV and radio channels, with plans for re-broadcasts. We’re also in talks with Arirang TV in Korea and Canadian media, alongside collaborations with the UBC Department of Asian Studies and local arts and media communities.
