HANKEN SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS
Hanken School of Economics in Finland is an internationally accredited leading university in the field of economics and business administration. Founded more than one hundred years ago, we are one of the oldest business schools in the Nordic countries.
OUR RESEARCH – OUR BACKBONE Research permeates all activities at Hanken. Within our selected areas of strength - Economics, Finance, Management and Organisation, and Marketing - research is conducted at an internationally pioneering level. Today, research at Hanken is conducted within our five departments and the competence centres associated with them. Our researchers are engaged in basic, applied and commissioned research. Hanken represents the Nordic type of business school where the ties between research and education are close, and where PhD education plays a key role.
