Final Project
PHASE 01: This phase aims to improve your 3D form generation skills. It allows you to explore more creative approaches to modelling and design. You can express yourself and your personality through unique models. By the end of this phase, a mini project is required to evaluate and reflect on the skills learnt.
PHASE 1 Exploring 3D form composition
In-Lab Task 01: On Curvilinear 3D Form model Assignment Description: The purpose of this assignment is to learn new commands, practise them, and get more used to three-dimensional modelling
Perspective View
Learned Skills: I learnt how to build a 3D model from scratch. I used commands like ExtrudeCrv and Twist to construct it Personal Reflection: I was carefully listening to the TAs as they were explaining how to achieve this result with different ways. This assignment took a long time as I tried to achieve the same result using different methods to make sure I understood them all.

Rubric: C= Unfinished and inaccurate Drawing of the required Models.
B= Unfinished or inaccurate Drawing of the required Models.
A= Completed and Accurate Drawing of the required Models
Grade: 2.00/2 .00% Side View
Assignment 01: Opposing Concepts Assignment Description: You are required to design and construct a 3D composition for an abstract shape that reflects 2 opposing concepts. Learned Skills: I learned that I can construct so many designs on Rhino due to the diversity and large number of the commands. Form Generation
Side View
Personal Reflection: I chose to portray the difference between looks and personality. I tried to achieve this by creating a barrier like form on the inside while creating random, messy, and incomplete forms on the inside. I think this model was average as such concept could be portrayed in a more expressive way and using more skilful commands Rubric: D=Unclear meaning and poor configuration C=Unclear transition of what is written about concept and composition
B= Very good expression of the concept and application of learnt skills A=New and exceptional idea with wonderful expression

Grade: 3.43/5.00 %
In-Lab Task 02: Galaxy Soho, Beijing, China Assignment Description: You are required to design this shopping centre by Zaha Hadid using Rhino. It aims at the practising of modelling with dimensions. Learned Skills: I learned how to loft, pipe, extract wireframe, patch curves to create complete buildings with accurate details Personal Reflection: I liked this assignment as it was my first time to construct a real-life building on Rhino. It gave me the confidence to try different buildings and models in the following assignments

Assignment 02: The Mobility Pavilion, by Foster and partners Assignment Objective: You are required to design and model the Mobility Pavilion which was created in 2020 for a competition based in Dubai. The theme of this model was creating the future and connecting minds which was portrayed by 3 connected masses
Top View Learned Skills: I learned how to make meaningful shapes and add details to them to make them even more realistic. I learned how to assign a few materials on Rhino, and I got more used to lofting, patching, and extruding curves.

Personal Reflection: In this assignment, I was introduced to simple rendering by assigning materials which really enhanced my skills. I also learned how to make perfect, smooth curves by lofting and rebuilding Rubric: C=Unfinished and inaccurate drawing of the required models B=Unfinished or inaccurate drawing of the required models A=Completed and accurate drawing of the required models

Mini Project World Persona Pavilion: Phase 01 Assignment Description: Creating a pavilion of dimensions 9*9*9 with the maximum skills learned in phase 1. It should be inspired by a wellknown person, Then, importing it to Photoshop to be rendered Learned Skills: I learned how to create random 3D forms on Rhino as the guitar. I also learned how to combine surfaces and adjust the opening size to make it look realistic
Form Generation
Personal Reflection: I messed up with the dimensions in the first phase. I also could have integrated the guitar into the pavilion in a more artistic and abstract way instead of the direct imitation. Rubric: 50% design concept 30% Visualisation 10% Poster 10% Form Generation
Grade: 3.90/5.00 %

Mini Project World Persona Pavilion: Phase 02 Form Generation Assignment Description: This is the final phase of the World Persona Pavilion Project. You are required to improve and fix any problems in phase 1. Learned Skills: I learned how to create slabs using the counter command Personal Reflection: I fixed my problem with the dimensions in this phase, but overall I wasn't satisfied by the outcome. I should have integrated the guitar with the building from the beginning as it was too late to start over Rubric: 50% design concept 30% Visualisation 10% Poster 10% Form Generation

PHASE 02: This phase aims to introduce you to visualisation and rendering. It is divided into 2 parts in which the first part focuses on 3D rendering, while the second one focuses on 2D rendering of plans, elevations, and sections. The skills learned in this phase are needed to render both the World Persona Pavilion (Mini project) and the final project.
PHASE 2 Visualisation and Rendering
In-Lab Task 03: Visualisation of Assignment 01 Assignment Description: You are required to import and render assignment 1 which was created on Rhino on Photoshop. This assignment attempts to introduce you to rendering and visualisation Learned Skills: I learned the basic rendering skills as choosing a nice shot, adding background, adjusting colour schemes and telling a story through a picture by adding people, materials, shadow, and lighting Personal Reflection: I found this assignment hard because it was my first experience with rendering. I don't like the outcome at all but I blame this on my limited skills as a beginner

PHASE 04: In this phase, you will learn how to operate your 3-dimensional model between various software applications. This concept is very important in digital designs as it allows you to get the best out of each application. For example, you can create a curvilinear model on Rhino and export it to Revit to extract the two-dimensional projections and technical drawings.

PHASE 05: This task is a recap of all the materials covered throughout the semester. You are required to represent your maximum potential through one project, including everything from the basic Rhino modelling to creating 2D projections on Revit and rendering it in the most realistic and artistic way possible on Photoshop
Final Project
Final Project: Assignment Description: You are required to export the 3D model you created for the world Persona pavilion (Mini Project) from Rhino, convert it to DWG. And SAT. Files as required, import it to Revit, and Render it on Photoshop Learned Skills: This project taught me how to produce in-depth package drawings for a project. It strengthened my skills of a digital workflow needed in the subsequent design studios Personal Reflection: I struggled so much in importing my 3D model to Revit as it had many complicated and highly curvilinear forms. The amount of time spent on fixing these problems did not allow me to do my best in Rendering and choosing perfect shots
