WELCOME BACK! WE HAVE MISSED YOU. Although virtual meetings were the best alternative options during the recent crisis when staying at home was strongly advised, they did not replace the live face-to-face meetings. We are happy that slowly the world is coming open again and people can meet their friends and families. In Limburg, we are ready to welcome you back again too. In the past few weeks, the Limburg hotels and event venues have worked hard to make their meeting location COVID proof. YOUR HEALTH IS OUR TOP PRIORITY WHEN YOU ORGANIZE AN EVENT IN ONE OF OUR LOCATIONS.

AT OUR HOTEL AND CONFERENCE VENUES: 1. All staff observe the standard hygiene rules and if someone has flu-like symptoms, the person will stay at home 2. There is always a contact person on-site to answer any questions regarding the corona measures 3. There is clear signage to guide the visitors 4. When a physical separation is not possible, a system of partitions or screens (plexiglass or other) is put in place 5. We ensure that regular disinfection of individual and collective equipment takes place several times a day 6. Hydroalcoholic gel is made available to visitors

7. For sit-down events, all room layouts take into account a safety distance of 1m50 8. We will remove all non-essential items in a room, but make sure that there is still a warm atmosphere 9. We regularly ventilate the reception area, circulation areas, and collective areas and/or check whether the ventilation system is working properly 10. We control access (both for participants and suppliers), with as much (pre-) registration as possible, to guarantee maximum visitor numbers, the regulatory social distance, special routes and contact tracking 11. We have clear communication before and during the event (e.g. posters, handbook, etc.) about the safety measures and obligations

TEAMBUILDING BUREAU ECCOLALUNA offers programs like La Talpa. It is a game concept in which every player is dragged into a story where no one can be trusted. The participants are divided into groups and those groups then compete against each other. Some people play a double game: they try to sabotage the assignments unnoticed. But in the end, this remains a team building game and you try to win as a group. However, there is still something unsettling about carrying out assignments as a group, where cooperation is extremely important to achieve success, but knowing that someone within the group will do everything to prevent this!

THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES THAT CAN BE ORGANIZED WITH THE HYGIENE AND SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES IN MIND. THE BIG ADVANTAGE OF LIMBURG IS ITS SPACE AND OUTDOOR OPPORTUNITIES.

• We are famous for our award-winning cycle paths: Cycling Through Water and Cycling Through the Trees. Of course, you can do these outdoor activities with your group while solving puzzles and taking part in activities along the route. • Enjoy the old Flemish games at the Bokrijk openair museum. A competitive activity for small and large groups including beer tasting in the Bokrijk brewery.

• In Limburg there are 7 former mining sites which have been converted into hubs for culture, creativity, and conferencing. At these mining sites, you can organize activities such as a virtual mine expedition, deep diving, creative workshops, teambuilding activities, etc. • Discover Hasselt by foot and make a jenever stop at the Jenever museum, take a bite from their famous ‘speculaas’ and make sure you visit the recently opened Z33 museum.

BILZEN MYSTERIES has a new and unique additional attraction. As well as the evening sound and light spectacle ‘Bilzen Mysteries, The Story’, you can now explore the historic site during the day in a playful and exciting way. The Conspiracy is a fascinating, interactive quest for young and old alike, full of puzzles, clues, and assignments.

Armed with a tablet and a detective’s mindset you will gradually unravel the answer to a mystery. Thanks to two formulas, the game can be played by all the family or only by adults.

A game where the forging of partnerships will be necessary to have enough information at the end of the game to be one step ahead of that traitor, to put them out of action as much as possible, to eventually expose them! De Paardenstallen, this unique location once served as a stables for the horses of Winterslag colliery. The restoration works were undertaken with a keen eye on preserving the historical character combined with a stunning slice of modern architecture. Nowadays, it is a gorgeous open space that looks out across the various historical elements from the site’s mining past. This gem has since been integrated as part of the overall C-mine site, a business park with a focus on creative companies.

The Paardenstallen (Stables) are home to a luxurious conferencing room called the 'Boiler Room' as well as modern events location, the 'Studio', which also houses a virtual TV studio that is available to be used.
