Background 

Etopia designs, manufactures and delivers sustainable new housing projects using its innovative off-site construction technology. The Avenue is a 47 home development that is setting global standards for sustainability and affordability. Etopia partnered with SNRG to design, deliver and operate a SmartGrid for the 16 Solus Apartments within The Avenue development.

Solution 

The SNRG SmartGrid solution included:

• 53kWp roof mounted solar array with a 10 degree east/west configuration

• 50kW solar inverter

• 32kWh battery energy storage system with a 20kW hybrid inverter

• Single bulk meter at point of connection to the iDNO

• Individual apartment meters

• 2 x EV charging points

• Resident app for insights, billing and customer service.
