The suite’s brick wall is beautifully complemented by Carol Batchelor’s misty, immersive work Layers of Time 01, which the Melbourne artist says explores the nature of relations that exist in flux through the sensory experience of paint and other visual signifiers. With her art delving into the meaning of human experience and spirit, it makes sense for it to hold a distinct space in a hotel that too is about transcending reality.

Breakfast at Hotel Vera is a seasonal inspired continental breakfast and is included when booking Friday and Saturday nights. It varies from day to day and is determined by what is the most tasty right now. It may include some of our brilliant purveyors such as Shultz dairy, 1816 bakery’s breads and pastries, St Ali coffee, Irrewarra granola, Salt Kitchen charcuterie hams and seasonal poached and fresh fruit. Suites have a maximum occupancy of two people, except for when you are travelling with an infant, which are free.
