HYGIENE FOR HOPE Greatest Need: Hygiene Items For Homeless and Low-Income Guests Now through April 1st, provide hope for homeless and low-income men, women and children by dropping off new hygiene items at the Denver Rescue Mission’s Lawrence Street Shelter, 1130 Park Avenue West in Denver (corner of Park Ave. West and Lawrence Street). Full size and travel size items are needed such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, lotion, disposable razors, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products, brushes and combs. The items will be used by Mission facilities where 900 people are housed each night in emergency shelter, transitional housing and rehabilitation programs. Hygiene items will also be distributed through Client Services which handles nearly 13,000 visits each year from folks referred by other agencies, shelters, social services and Mission programs.
