01 Task:
Patterns with engineering tools
Grade: 8.75/10
Patterns
Patterns Using engineering tools
Reflection:
Reference
The assignment was fun yet hard. Because it was the first time dealing with new tools like T-square. Moreover, I took a lot of time doing the frame.
Feedback Sketching Quality; 5/6 Composition/ Format/ Paper Thickness; 2/2 Arch. Lettering; 0.75 (need to use guidlines) Neatness; 1/1
Description Draw the following patterns. Each square dimension is (10 cm*10 cm). Assume any missing dimensions.
To fix it more Use more clear sharpened pencils for better sketching quality. Draw top and bottom lines (guidelines) for architectural lettering.
Grade: 8.75
02 Task:
Draw Top , Side , Front Views
Grade: 8.5/10
ORTHOGONAL PROJECTION
ORTHOGONAL PROJECTION
Reflection:
Reference
This assignment was super tricky. Because it challenged my way of imagining (front, side, top) views. Moreover, assuming missing dimensions.
Feedback Sketching Quality (Two for each pattern) 5/6 Composition/ Format/ Paper Thickness 1.5/2 Arch. Lettering 1/1 Neatness 1/1
Description Draw the 3 orthogonal projections (Top – Front – Side) of the following shape. Assume any missing dimensions.
To fix it more Need to fix the 45 degree distance between the top and side views Projections should be better
Grade: 8.5
03 Task:
Draw Top , Side , Front Views and Isometric
Grade: 14/20 9/10
Jenga Project / Isometric
Jenga Project / Isometric
Reflection:

This assignment was super interesting. Using our imagination to form a composition with my partner was super cool.
Feedback Views 3/6 Isometric 2/4 Composition / Format/ Paper 3/4 Architecture Lettering 3/3 Neatness 3/3
Description 1. Create a model out of 5 Jenga blocks. 2- Take pictures of all views of your model. 3- Sketch the model freehand in your sketchbook and give it its dimensions. 4- draw 3 views (Top – Front - Side) of your model 5- Draw an isometric on the jenga blocks
To fix it more Fix projections Take care of the hidden lines Calculate dimensions correctly
Grade: 14
Isometric
Reflection:
Reference
This assignment i became better in isometric. However, the circle was really hard.
Feedback Views 1.5/2 Isometric 2.5/3 circles 1/1 Composition/ Format/ Paper Thickness 2/2 Arch. Lettering 1/1 Neatness 1/1
Description
To fix it more
Draw views and isometric from the given views
Fix projections in my views
Grade: 9
04 Task:
Learn to draw and render in pencil
Grade:
8/10
Architecture detail
Architecture detail
Reflection:
Reference
Personally, i liked this assignment a lot. Because i explored the process of rendering and drawing in a way that appears realistic.
Feedback Nice focus of the focal point Add rendering to the background Trees could be better
Description Sketch and render an architecture detail (entrance window - canopy - stairs - etc...... ) on campus in pencil.
To fix it more Add texture to the background Shadow editing Fix the trees rendering
Grade: 8
05 Task:
Free-hand an object and how to do persepctive (one point and two points)
Grade:
8.5/10 5.5/10 7/10
Object in pencil/ Perspective
Object in pencil
Reflection:
Reference
I learned how to decide the location of an object in a sketch. And relation between positive and negative.
Feedback Nice form and and shadow However no background
To fix it more Added a background of a table
Description draw and render an interesting object. Rendering should show material, texture light and shades.
Grade: 8.5
Room Perspective
Reflection:
Redo
Perspective was a little bit hard for me to understand. This assignment was critical a bit.
Feedback Needs rendering. Perspective not really correct.
Description Required to draw and render a perspective of a room at home in pencil. The perspective could be of one or two vanishing points, according to your angle towards the scene.
Grade: 5.5
Auc Perspective
Reflection:
Reference
This assignment was challenging because it was the first time rendering in colors. Also the perspective was hard to appear like the reality.
Feedback Nice focus of the focal point Make rendering more realistic.
Description Sketch and render an architecture detail (entrance window - canopy - stairs - etc...... ) on campus in pencil. Then render in colors after.
To fix it more Add texture
Grade: 7
06 Task:
Draw views (plan , section, elevation, layout) views , isometric , and render in colors
Grade:
16.5/20
Chalet Project
chalet project

Was super challenging. But had lots of fun because it really helped in the final project.
Feedback Phase One
Phase Two
Drawing 2/6 Details 1.5/4 Landscape 2/4 Line Type 1/2 Text 1/2 Neatness 2/2
Drawing 4/5 Details 3/4 Rendering 4/4 Landscape 2/3 Line Type 1.5/2 Text 1/1 Neatness 1/1
Description Draw and render in colors Layout Plan Elevation Section A-A Isometric
To fix it more Choose better color palette Make simple yet appealing
Grade: 16.5
07 Task:
How to drop shadow with a specific technique.
Grade: 8/10 7.5/10
Drop Shadow
drop shadow
Reflection: Understood the technique of dropping shadow in dark shades and in colors.
Feedback Objects needs more contrast in the rendering Add the source of light in a better way.
Description Drop the shadow of the 3D shapes and render the objects and drop shadow in pencils
Grade: 8/10 7.5/10
08 Task:
Draw courtyard house of views (plan , section, elevation, layout) views , isometric , and render in colors
Grade:
81/100
Red House
Red House
Findings:
Reflection: Was super challenging. Because this time i had nothing given (views or dimesions)
Description: Choose any courtyard house (draw and render) the following: plan , section, elevation, layout, isometric, perspective, cite analysis.
Grade: 81
