From Classroom to Kitchen: A Progressive Tasting Experience with Luke Kolpin

Firefighter for a Day

Does your student aspire to be a firefighter, or would they enjoy seeing a fire station up close? Purchase this item and your student and a friend will join Firefighter Neil Junkin (HRS parent) on a personal tour of Fire Station 5 on the Seattle waterfront and then join the firefighters for dinner. A mid-century modernist beacon located on Seattle’s waterfront, Fire Station 5 is a distinctive and recognizable fixture along this busy waterway. Station 5 is designated a Seattle landmark. It also houses fire and rescue boats. Though a boat ride isn’t “guaranteed,” Neil says you might want to bring your life jacket. This special experience is open to students ages 7-12. As a bonus, if younger siblings are at home, bring them along to take advantage of this fun family adventure!
