This talk will give you an insight into designing and installing the correct detectors for the correct locations. Presented by ESP, Scolmore Group 13.10–13.40 | RCD CONSIDERATIONS FOR RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGY In the context of renewable energy systems, the correct use of Residual Current Devices (RCDs) is crucial for ensuring electrical safety. For air source heat pumps, RCDs should be selected based on the specific electrical characteristics of the inverter, including its power rating and operational conditions whilst considering the manufacturer’s instructions. When selecting protective devices for solar PV or battery storage installations, it is vital to ensure that any bidirectional energy flow is considered. Additionally, the assembly rating of distribution board must be carefully considered to handle the combined load of all supplies. HOW TO GET THERE NAEC Stoneleigh is ideally located between the M6 and M40 motorways, near Kenilworth and approximately 6 miles south of Coventry, with easy access from the A46. For sat nav users, please enter CV8 2LH From London/M40: Exit the M40 at Junction 15, then take the A46 northbound towards Coventry. Follow signs for Stoneleigh Park or NAEC via the B4113. From the M6/M69: If travelling via the M6, exit at Junction 2 and join the A46 towards Warwick. From the end of the M69, join the A46 towards Warwick and the M40. Follow signs to Stoneleigh Park or NAEC on the B4113. From the M1 (Northbound): Exit at Junction 17 and take the M45 towards Coventry.
