ELECTRIC LOADALL

A leading plant hirer has hailed the “brilliant battery life” of its two new JCB electric Loadall telescopic handlers which are delivering eight hours continuous operation on a single charge. Purchased by Wellingborough-based RJC Plant Hire, and supplied by dealer Watling JCB, the two new 525-60E models deliver zero emissions at point of use with comparable performance to their diesel counterparts.

FARESIN ELECTRIC TELEHANDLER

Sheffield based plant hire firm, MJ Hughes, took delivery of the highest specification model of the Faresin 6.26E Electric Telehandler from UK dealer GGR Group. The 2.6t capacity machine was delivered with the optional fast charger to charge the 400Ah battery from zero to full in as little as 2 hours.

COMPACT TRACK LOADER

The first machine of its kind to be fully electric, is how Doosan Bobcat is describing its T7X compact track loader. The fully battery-powered unit is quieter, with high-performance torque, and said to be more powerful than any diesel-fuelled track loader that has ever come before it.

WHEEL LOADER

The Hyundai HL940A Wheel Loader has an operating weight of 13,400kg with a 2.30m³ bucket capacity and a tipping load of 10,000kg. Rear visibility and ease of maintenance have been improved, whilst Hyundai’s AAVM (Advanced Around View Monitoring) and radar system, which acts as an extra pair of eyes on site, is available as an optional extra.

TELEHANDLERS

The first of Bobcat’s new R-Series telehandlers have been delivered in the UK. The three T41.140SLP 14m Stage V telehandlers form part of an order for five T41.140SLPs purchased by Truelove Property and Construction, based in Lincoln in England. With standard tyres fitted, the T41.140SLP offers a maximum lift capacity of 4.1tonne, a maximum lift height of 13.65m and a maximum forward reach of 9.8m.
