This course is designed for vehicle technicians who may not have the time to attend a face to face training event but would like to learn a little more about vehicle safety systems, and in this instance – specifically braking. The course will contain information on the various different systems fitted, diagnostic information and some ‘top tips’. Course Content: • Active & Passive safety systems • Conventional braking and multiplication of force • Anti-lock Braking Systems, Traction Control Systems & Electronic Stability Program • Electronic parking brake • Diagnostic brake bleeding procedure Prerequisites: Basic motor vehicle knowledge and an appetite to learn. Attainment: Trainees will gain an understanding of braking safety systems, how they can be tested and diagnosed. A certificate of attendance will be available upon completion. Delivery Method: This course is available as either a ½ day face to face (F2F) or as two, 2 hour online modules (virtual classroom).
