As I shared on July 1st, this month’s Tuesday Briefs will be companions to a weekly July Special Vision Edition of the Kerusso. Each Tuesday, I will share a graphic listing things we have been doing in one of our five current denominational priorities. Then, each Wednesday, you’ll receive another installment of the July Kerusso, which explores that information in greater detail.
This week, the focus is on key accomplishments in the area of Educating Ministers.
Without a doubt, the most significant advancement in the EMC in Ministerial Education over the past decade is the creation and development of the Haggard School of Ministry. While we still encourage a traditional Bible College or Seminary degree for ministerial preparation and education, the Haggard School is an excellent and affordable alternative to those for whom that route is not feasible.
Tomorrow’s installment of the Kerusso will share more about the Haggard School of Ministry, about our two preaching institutes, and look forward to what we foresee for the future in ministerial education
