Rev. Wade and I have a dear mutual friend in Rev. Brian Hammond. Brian has known Scott for many years, and I had the privilege of meeting him at the Nazarene General Assembly last June.
Rev. Scott Wade is a pastor, author, and weekly host of the podcast, “Casual Conversations.” Pastor Scott interviewed me in early February and will publish that conversation in the coming weeks -I’ll alert you all when he does.

It is an audio-only podcast, and you can find Scott’s “Casual Conversations” by CLICKING HERE
Pastor Scott has a passion for the church. He especially desires to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ shine brightly in our personal lives as well as in our collective witness.

Besides his weekly podcast, Rev. Wade is an author of devotional books, an inspirational speaker, and a licensed Nazarene Evangelist. He is most recently the founder of “Momentum Ministries.” You can read more about him, find a great supply of resources, and read about why Momentum was established by clicking MOMENTUM.
In preparation for Scott’s interview with me, he asked if I would share what I would hope for the church of Jesus Christ in 2024. After several weeks of thought and prayer leading up to that conversation, I felt clarity in seven specific messages that I’d love the church to hear and embrace, and will be expounding a bit on each of them over the next few weeks:
1. In a time when nearly everything IS changing ...
2. Our culture seems to celebrate compromise ...
3. In many churches, the worship wars are over...
4. In a culture that is growing darker and darker...
The true Gospel is NOT changing.
God’s people must not compromise
But let’s not worship “worship”.
God’s WORD is the only source of light.
5. In a church world with far too many ‘Lone Rangers’ ...
6. If we hope to preach transformation in Christ ...
7. We will never be truly fruitful for the KING ...
Accountable relationships are crucial.
We must be transformed people.
Unless we are intimate with the KING.
