Happy Fall, Y’all! It’s officially Fall! Do you know what that means? (This one’s multiple choice) a) Time to get the fall decorations out b) Almost time to enjoy fall foliage c) Time for the November Missions Offering d) All of the above Yep, it’s “all of the above,” but we are focused on the NOVEMBER MISSIONS OFFERING! At its September meeting, the EMC General Council formally affiliated GRIAC as a Provisional Global Conference, so we now have five Global Conferences! (Mexico, Myanmar, Asia Pacific, South Africa, and GRIAC). How wonderful it would be to send each of them $5,000 to further their ministries! We’re setting the offering goal at $25,000! Let’s go on a MISSIONS ADVENTURE together during November. Page 2 continues with ideas for your Autumn missions emphasis to help you raise money to bless our EMC global family: Week 1: Pray for the Nations • Plan a special prayer each week in November in your home to pray for EMC Missions • Lead or organize a special prayer time at church for EMC Missions
• Use the EMC Missions prayer list that is emailed weekly (contact billwalkeremc@gmail.com if you need a copy) • Ask God what He wants you to give. Ask Him to do the impossible through you! Week 2: Eat for the Nations (We’re going to eat anyway, so let’s make it count!)
• Make a personal or family gift in addition to what your church does • Match your tithe this week or month for the Missions Offering • Calculate your expenses for the Thanksgiving meal, and give an equal amount to the Missions Offering. • Give a tithe of what you plan to spend on Christmas gifts this year Week 4: Celebrate the Nations • Culminate your Autumn missions emphasis by sending the money you’ve raised and given to EMC Headquarters, designated for the November Missions Offering. • Give praise to God for the many souls saved and baptized across the Global Conferences of the EMC (and beyond) • Praise God for His faithfulness in Myanmar, sustaining the Church in great hardship • Praise God for new Business as Mission endeavors and church planting strategy in the Philippines • Praise God for Life and Truth Bible Institute students in Mexico • Praise God for new circuits and church growth in South Africa • Praise God for the new GRIAC Provisional Global Conference and their churches in 5 countries (US, Canada, Congo, South Africa, and Cyprus).

• Have your church family organize a soup or chili cook-off, sell tickets or accept donations, and give the proceeds to the Offering. Maybe offer a trophy for the winning cook! • Conclude the meal (or have another event) with a dessert auction, and give the proceeds to the offering.

COME FLY WITH US We would love for you to travel with us as we visit our EMC Global Conferences. Our Mission
Exposure trips are designed for groups to visit a Global Conference for a project or ministry experience. Not all trips are Mission Exposure, but sometimes there are one or two individuals who would like to see what we do and better understand our Global Conferences. If that is you, this is your invitation! Whether we are attending an annual conference in Mexico, chatting with pastors, setting up a School of Ministry in South Africa, celebrating a new church plant in Montreal, training young leaders in the Philippines, or doing something else somewhere else, we would be glad to have you come along. We can’t promise the best accommodations, and you will probably deal with jet lag, but you will be blessed, and you will gain valuable insight! The EMC Missions ministry is both our calling and job, but we don’t mind sharing! So, if you’re interested, have a passport, and are prepared to cover your expenses, just email us to get the ball rolling!
MISSION EXPOSURE T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST We have already received some submissions for the T-shirt design! The contest will run through December 31, 2026! The Board of World Missions members will pick the winning design. The winner will receive a scholarship for an EMC Mission Exposure trip of his/her choice up to $3,500!
