Apologies are in order … I am in the middle of a very busy season, with the approaching General Council meeting in Indianapolis in late September, as well as other responsibilities, and I was not able to send a Tuesday Brief last week. I’m so sorry!
And what’s more, I’ve almost let this one slip past me.
But I am excited to report that I was privileged to host a training sequence with the USA Cabinet of Superintendents that was focused on team-building, communication, leadership, and vision.
I love working with these men. They are deeply committed to Christ and His Church, and are people of excellence and passion.
We met in Nampa, Idaho, spending time with some wonderful trainers and guides –Drs. Art and Melody Wilt; Drs. Jim and Dori Halbert; and Mrs. Lois Tupyi.
We had the opportunity to worship at both Crossroads Caldwell, and Crossroads Nampa. Pastor Bethany Stockett preached an amazing sermon in Caldwell.
The Nampa campus had an outdoor service and celebration which included lunch, lots of special activities, and a celebration of water baptism with several adults and children.
Pastor Barry McGarrah shared the message, and the celebration was an amazing day of fellowship and fun.
It was an amazing time, and a very special Sunday!
