Halo Design was founded in 1994 by the Danish entrepreneur Michael Waltersdorff at the age of 18

Our goal
Halo Design crafts original and functional lamps with a Scandinavian minimalism in mind. We constantly reinvent our design language to be contemporary and sustainable. At the same time, we are faithful to our philosophy of developing lighting solutions that are aesthetically unique, yet affordable for many.
Stepp 1-2-3
Stepp 1-2-3 is the latest creation for Halo Design Copenhagen by the awardwinning Danish designer. Tom Stepp trained as an architect at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and he was the founder of Stepp Industrial Design, a design studio that has received several awards and prizes.

Stockholm Nordic Edition
Aesthetic and material research results in the Stockholm family. With the new Nordic Edition lamps, we wanted to give them a natural look by combining wood with brass. The lamps also have fine details such as a pivot point on the shade of the pendant models, which is useful for rotating and positioning the lamps as required.

DC Textile
DC is a family of lamps with a simple and Scandinavian inspired design. Thanks to its round shapes and the combination of metal and wood, this range immediately became one of our classics. The veneered oak arch also has a very important function in rotating the shade of the lamps and directing the light freely. Now combining wood, metal and fabric.
