With the Orchestral Studies series, Henle presents a new, comprehensive collection of the world’s most requested audition excerpts for all orchestral instruments. Carefully edited, each edition brings together all the essential orchestral excerpts in one or two volumes – an indispen sable resource for musicians who want to prepare thoroughly for auditions. The main section of each volume contains the excerpts in their original form. An inserted appendix supplements these with practical fingering and bowing, as well as cue notes from accompanying orchestral parts. Moreover, the appendix offers in-depth texts for each excerpt.
