Chinese New Year is is one of the most important holidays in the Chinese calendar, and it is celebrated by millions of people around the world. One of the traditional activities during this time is the writing of couplets, which are verses that express good wishes for the upcoming year. Phrases like "恭喜發財" which means "may you have a prosperous new year" are written. This year, HRC had organized an event where the residents can write their own couplets and hang them on their door. It was a fun activity and we can honor the rich cultural heritage of this important holiday.
