EDITORIALNOTE

As we reflect on the memories made in Chan Sui Kau Hall throughout the year, we're reminded of the unique experiences and challenges that come with living in a community of diverse individuals. Despite these challenges, through hard work, understanding, and mutual respect, we've come together to create a home away from home for ourselves and our fellow residents. This yearbook serves as a testament to those efforts and the bonds we've formed during our time in this amazing residence. Thank you to all the members of Chan Sui Kau Hall for making this a year to remember, and best of luck to all of our graduating residents in their future endeavors.

HALLMANAGEMENT TEAM2022/2023 HEUISEUNG ALEKSA

Hi, all! This is Heui Seung, a final-year HRM student from Korea. My hobby is lifting weights and befriending good people. Becoming a finance RT taught me how to manage various stakeholders simultaneously! A busy job, but someone got to do it! It was an immensely great opportunity to join the wonderful hall management team, working together and working for the residents!

Hey! I'm Aleksa, a final year CS student from Serbia. Besides movies, I'm also into swimming and jogging. Being an RT improved my social and organization skills , as I was in charge of scholarship team, and Youth and Society Project (YSP) events, coordination of which involved communication with many different people. Never forget that no dream is too big.

Hello! This is Talha, a graduating student from Pakistan studying finance. Being part of the Hall 5 management this year has been a wonderful experience for me. Not only did I get to learn from the people around me but also made solid friendships along the way. Please hit me up if you ever need any help or have a good movie/show recommendation. Break a leg, everyone!

TALHA

How do you like Hall 5?

It's like my second home - I have been working in Hall 5 since May 2004, and I really enjoyed working here. Hall 5 is like a big family, and the residents are like my children.

Favourite thing about Hall 5?

Everything! It's hard to find the best thing about Hall 5 since it's so great - we have the best view of Hong Kong, an amazing resident community, and a really good hall environment.

What makes Hall 5 special?

The community of this hall is great. I remember throughout the years, residents would usually want to be very friendly and would frequently chat with me. International students would also often want to learn and practice Cantonese - and I could also learn some new English words with them. It was always a great experience.
