ABOUT ME 01 LOVE I love designing any and all things that bring people together and positively impact their day to day lives.

02 EDUCATION I attended The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas for a Bachelor of Architecture between 2021-2026.

03 PAST EXPERIENCE

SKILLS

I worked in the Fay Jones Wood Lab as a student tech for 2 years where I guided students on the safe and effective use of fabrication, fostering a collaborative and safe workshop environment.

04 APPROACH I work in a hands on way where sketching and modeling start the explorations before moving into digital forms. I enjoy being able to help with as much as the project as I can be including construction.

THE CURRENT

Inspired by the flowing rivers of the Ouachita Mountains, The Current peels the landscape upward to create a fluid, resilient community pavilion that adapts to both human needs and environmental forces.

7

NATURAL LANDSCAPE. THE TOPOGRAPHY APPROACH ENHANCES THE EXPERIENCE OF ELEVATION AND CREATES DYNAMIC VIEWPOINTS AND ACTIVITIES ON TOP OF THE PROJECT. A MAIN CONCEPT TO THIS PROJECT IS THE INTEGRATION OF NATURE’S FORM INTO THE URBAN CONTEXT AROUND THE SITE.

INITAL CONCEPT

Drawing inspiration from the Ouachita Mountains, the design was conceived by carving into the earth to maximize usable outdoor space and preserve the site’s existing waterfront trails. This concept evolved into an organic, cave-like mass-timber pavilion situated beneath an ADAaccessible, occupiable green roof. To maintain a constant visual connection to the landscape, the exterior rooms act as transparent glass boxes, allowing uninterrupted sightlines straight through the building to the river. Inside, the flexible, two-level layout—featuring an embedded basketball court, Low-E glass, and an efficient raised-floor HVAC system—easily reconfigures for sports, gatherings, and leisure.

8

Crucially, the site is engineered for ecological resilience; it embraces seasonal flooding through elevated pathways, a vegetative levee wall, and preserved wetlands, ensuring the pavilion remains a dynamic community asset year-round.

THE HEARTH LOUNGE

The Hearth Lounge synthesizes protective enclosure with grounded, Cubist architectural mass, creating a personal vessel that balances heavy mahogany joinery with the delicate tension of woven Danish cord.

Evolving from the lightweight spindle framework of Evam’s Elephant Armchair, the Hearth Lounge embraces the geometric solidity found in the lounge typologies of Jorge Zalszupin. The design features a monolithic mahogany frame characterized by heavy slab joinery, striking a sharp visual contrast with the negative space of its protective dowel backrest. By integrating built-in storage with a meticulously woven Danish cord seat, the piece functions as a personal “hearth”—a grounded architectural sanctuary that provides comfort, utility, and a human touch without the bulk of traditional upholstery.

ZIPPING TUFELLO

The Community Garden and Learning Hub acts as a vital “zip” in the Tufello neighborhood, transforming neglected, car-centric spaces into a productive landscape where sustainability, education, and social cohesion meet.

Part of the collaborative "Zipping Tufello" master plan in Rome, this overarching project reimagines disconnected urban corridors by replacing vehicular infrastructure with human-centered, ecological public spaces. Situated strategically along the master plan's "Green Loop," my specific contribution—the Community Garden and Learning Hub—turns an overgrown site into a climate-resilient micro-environment. The design introduces layered systems of engagement, including raised planting beds, a greenhouse, a tool library for skill sharing, and pergolas that serve as outdoor classrooms. Operating as a school educational space by day and a communal farming zone by weekend, this hub empowers residents to grow their own food, supports a closed-loop local economy, and restores ecological value through everyday community stewardship.

SUNVALLEY HOUSING

Sunvalley Housing merges sustainable engineering with intentional spatial design to foster a self-sustaining, deeply interconnected neighborhood.

18

19

Sunvalley Housing is an affordable, environmentally conscious development designed to prioritize resident health and community building. The project maximizes efficiency and lowers costs through a staggered 8’ by 10’ structural grid and stacked MEP systems, while utilizing passive cooling and a southern solar facade to reduce energy bills. At the heart of its social design is a resident-run produce garden and market that generates local revenue, complemented by shared communal kitchens, laundry rooms, and a gym. To further encourage physical activity and natural interaction, meandering sky bridges connect the residential modules, creating elevated outdoor courtyards that transform daily transit into an opportunity for community connection.

DESIGN & ART

Design is a tactile dialogue. Whether shaping a city block or a piece of furniture, the goal is to create human-centered experiences that balance structural honesty with artistic expression.

Inspired by Enzo Mari’s belief that building our own furniture reconnects us to the objects we live with, this Sedia 1 chair was crafted entirely with hand tools to embrace the slow, meditative rhythm of manual labor. By integrating handmade clay tiles flush into the raw pine frame, the piece answers Mari’s invitation to modify his designs, transforming a simple utility into a deeply personal canvas.
