Reaching this important phase of my life has made me reflect on what I have done and achieved in the past 40 years in the workforce.

Haileybury Foundation Thank You event 2025 has been a monumental year already for Haileybury Foundation.
We are proud to be supporting 31 students through the Haileybury Scholarship Fund and, thanks to an already record-breaking year, we are delighted to announce that in 2026, this number will increase to 37 students.
Along with the joys of raising a family and being a mentor to students exploring their future careers, one of the greatest pleasures has been my involvement with Haileybury, as a councillor, and donor and Director of the School’s Foundation.
Being so closely involved, I see how well the money is managed; I see the incredible impact a Haileybury scholarship has on students; and I see how important new, modern buildings are to current and future students.

We take great delight in inviting Haileybury Foundation donors and supporters to our Thank You event, which will be held on Thursday, 21 August at the Brighton campus.
We are looking forward to the event to show our appreciation for our donors and importantly, to show our community the true impact of a gift to Haileybury Foundation.

Foundation. I’ve met many recipients of our donations and their parents. What has impressed me most was how appreciative they are to be given the chance of a Haileybury education, and their enthusiasm to embrace the opportunities afforded to them. A chance that, unfortunately, is limited to the number of donations we give.
I urge anyone who has the capacity to please consider donating to the Foundation.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of the dedicated staff members of Haileybury who contribute to our Foundation’s Workplace Giving program. Your generosity has directly enabled four students to access a transformative education at our School—an opportunity that will shape their futures in profound ways.
The commitment of the 100-plus staff exemplifies the spirit of our community, where collective efforts lead to meaningful change. By choosing to give,
these members of staff have not only supported these students but also reinforced the values that define our Haileybury.
To honour these contributions, we have presented each donor with a special gold lanyard. We encourage these staff to wear this symbol with pride, as it represents their role in fostering educational equity and excellence, and to share the stories of their influence.
We also invite other staff members to consider joining this impactful initiative.
Even modest contributions can make a significant difference when combined. Together, we can continue to expand opportunities for students who might otherwise face barriers to education.
Thank you for embodying the values of compassion and community. Your support is not only changing lives but also inspiring a culture of giving within our School.
