Our certified structures are certified to EN1176 outdoor play. All custom nets can be designed to EN1176, EN15567 rope adventure course, ASTM or CSA standards.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER

Tayplay, Softplay, and the Playpower Group joined forces to create a stellar playscape at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida – the home of NASA!

Tayplay’s specialist team designed and crafted unique rope elements, including black hole tunnels, galactic netting, and vortex structures, inspiring the next generation of astronauts and engineers through play.

This extraordinary project combines imagination, innovation, and adventure, offering a truly out-of-this-world experience for visitors of all ages.

THE HIVE

Designed by Helen Foot, “The Hive” is an impressive indoor playscape brought to life through the collaboration of UD York, Steel Line, and Tayplay. Together, the team created a dynamic, safe, and durable play environment.

Tayplay played a key role in the project, contributing innovative rope elements crafted with high-quality materials. They ensured safety and quality throughout the process and collaborated seamlessly with the other teams to deliver a flawless installation.

Now a beloved destination, The Hive offers children an exciting and engaging play experience.

FORUM SINTRA MALL

Tayplay collaborated with Play Planet to design and manufacture custom scramble nets for Forum Sintra in Portugal.

The installation features four group hammock nets, offering shoppers a unique space to stop, play, and relax. Additional safety netting ensures a secure environment by preventing smaller items from falling to the floor below.

Whether resting after a day of shopping or enjoying a quick scramble, these nets provide a playful and practical escape in the heart of the shopping centre.

HONG KONG AIRPORT

Located by Gate 11, the Wonder Eggshell play area, designed and installed by Sinocham Play, offers young travellers an exciting pre-flight adventure. This distinctive space features an enormous eggshell structure with intricately designed Tayplay rope nets, serving as a striking focal point.

The structure seamlessly connects to climbing nets, slides, and a gracefully curved net tunnel adorned with vibrant ribbons hanging from the skylight, creating a dynamic and engaging play experience.

HAAPSALU PRIMARY SCHOOL

Tayplay designed and manufactured a large custom rope net and tunnel for MUUW, leading a project for Haapsalu Primary School in Estonia.

Using SolidWorks, the net was modelled and produced at Tayplay’s factory in Scotland. Tayplay’s technical team provided guidance on EN playground safety standards and assisted MUUW in preparing the framework for installation.

The upper-level net offers a space to scramble and relax, while the rope tunnel provides a fun shortcut through the treehouse—making the journey to the next lesson an adventure!

STEEL-REINFORCED ROPE

Our braided nylon and MFP ropes are built for high performance in demanding environments. Each rope features six galvanised steel strands and a fibre or steel core, delivering excellent strength and durability with a tensile rating of 1,570 N/mm². The outer yarns are UV-stabilised for lasting colour and weatherresistance.
