DearHageCommunity,
It is that time of year to give thanks and prepare not only for the holidays but for the New Year just around the corner. I am thankful for my family and friends, all that I have, my health, and the wonderful people of the Hage community whether it be the staffandteacherswhomaketheschoolawelcoming, safe place for our students but also for those who volunteer, giving their time and energy effortlessly helping with Hage events, assisting teachers in classrooms, showing up for on-the-spot help, and willingtomakeHageabetterplaceforourchildren
Looking forward to 2025, there will be more opportunities to become a part of the community –becoming a PTA member, becoming a member of one of the many teams we have, attending meetings to stay in touch with what’s happening around the school, and continuing to help at events such as the Jog-a-Thon,readingevents,ScholasticBookFair,Art Night, and Science night. New ideas and new family membersarealwayswelcome.

Though IDEA has since been revised many times, it is still the basis for special education law in the United States. IDEA defines the rights of disabled school children and their caregivers, provides guidelines for schools and families to work together, and ensures access to the supports and services that each child needs to succeed.
