This portfolio contains a carefully chosen selection of my work from the fifth semester of my architectural studies. All four project showcases an absolutely different developing design approach... materiality, space, human experience... And I hope you discover a piece of yourself in one of my projects. hafsa.lakhali@enaagadir.ac.ma

For a couple and their autistic child who feels the world overstimulating, architecture should breathe with them and offer refuge without confinement. So "How to calm down" was born from silence. The kind that soothes, not isolates.

VISION
This image is a haunting portrayal of the paradox of modern architecture : a promising refuge yet trapping us in its toxicity. The rain (a symbol of cleansing and renewal) falls upon a shelter of cold, lifeless concrete, a material once seen as a beacon of progress but now a silent accomplice in environmental decay. A ladder offers escape, but to where? Into the rain, into uncertainty, into another layer of artificiality?
This is architecture as a question, not an answer. A critique of a world built in concrete. A material meant to shield us may, in the end, entomb us.
