Council opens doors of Belle Vue House to interested parties
Last month Babergh District Council opened the doors of Belle Vue House by appointment, to ensure that interested parties had all the information needed to submit future proposals for the building. A Babergh spokesperson said, “ We’ve been encouraged by the level of interest shown so far. A number of groups were shown around with other viewings planned. We hope that the initial interest transpires INTOÒFORMALÒEXPRESSIONSÒOFÒINTERESTÒTHATÒAREÒBOTHÒµNANCIALLYÒVIABLEÒANDÒ OFÒBENEµTÒTOÒTHEÒWIDERÒCOMMUNITY iÒ In addition to inviting the community to respond, the council have instructed estate agents Strutt and Parker to explore whether there ISÒANYÒCOMMERCIALÒINTERESTÒINÒTHEÒPROPERTY ÒBEFOREÒGIVINGÒRESIDENTSÒAÒSAYÒONÒAÒSHORTLISTÒOFÒµNANCIALLYÒVIABLEÒPROPOSALSÒASÒPARTÒOFÒAÒPUBLICÒ consultation later on in the year.
