Professional Experience
Intern Architect | a+LiNK Architecture Inc. | London, ON | June 2022 - Present
Worked in the Heritage Conservation Department to apply my expertise and educational background on projects involving interventions on historic buildings
Generated Revit BIM Model based on 2D drawings, photographic documentation, and aerial views that was used for accurate documentation of the historic building, and modeled the existing window profile of the building to create custom BIM families for the project.
Designed an extension to the building for adaptive reuse, supported by an independent structure and learned how to apply the technicalities and code requirements for the design through coordinating with supervisors including principal architects and technologists for updates on the project,.
Conducted multiple presentations and meetings on the proposed extension to the clients and structural consultants to ensure proper coordination amongst all involved parties, and the pitch was entertained.
Explored the potential of introducing BIM to the company by incorporating present day technologies and workflows of the industry, to keep the company up to date with the market’s pace
Architectural Intern | Collective Research and Architecture Studio | Beirut | Aug-Sept 2020
Conducted live virtual tour and site surveillance of Beirut’s destroyed neighborhoods post August 4th Port Explosion for M. Arch Studio at Columbia University GSAPP, then developed a map of the covered areas with site assessment of damage and current conditions relative to those of pre-explosion.
Research Papers & Reports
