The CLUB History

The Kasaragod warriors was found in August 3, 2023. The Kasaragod warriors. Some may think that it is a unique club which is not heard of before. Indeed, you are right. The Kasaragod warriors is a team based in Kasaragod which is my team basically. So, myself I am AH. I am a football lunatic person. so, the start of my journey is in hero isl 2. Where my team the Kasaragod warriors are up against Kerala blasters 2 nd team. As I am not officially introduced to the team yet I am watching the game on the stands. The first game of the season for us is against Kerala blasters 2 nd team which we lost by 2 goals. So, I understood that we need a revamp for my team. But we did not have any money. Because our board of directors are not letting us go for programs to get some money. We had to go for a preseason tour to Thiruvananthapuram. But we had no money to pay for the travel. so, I understood that Kerala blasters 2 had gone for preseason tour to Thiruvananthapuram. So, we thought that for next season we needed to go for preseason tour no matter what happens. I had shortlisted some players from the Kerala blasters 2nd team for signing them to my team for the next season. Our next game was against northeast united 2nd team. Let me introduce you to my squad. We had a goalkeeper named Amrender, Jasiel Carneiro, Abdul Rahman samad as our center backs. As our midfielders we had Omar Singh laal, Mohammed Ali, hidimba Sandhu and saran Bala. As our forwards we had Dayanand Singh and pushpak laal Singh. Our formation was 4-2-2-2. We lost our match with northeast united 2nd team 3-1. Our next match was against Mumbai city 2nd team which we lost by 4-0. Our next match was against chennayin 2 nd team which we lost 5-2 and after that we played against Bengaluru 2nd team which we lost 4-2. Our next match was against goa 2nd team which we lost 5-0. After 3 consecutive losses we needed an investor. So, an investor named Mohammed kunhi Ali came to invest in our club. He invested minimalistic. With the money he provided we brought our first signing Abdul Ansari. So, the season in Hero isl 2 is short basically we play each other twice. And it has 13 matches in total. So, we played 6 matches out of which we won 0. So, we had our 7 th match which was against Bengaluru 2 nd team in the Kasaragod coliseum. The remaining 7 matches are at our home. Astonishingly we won our last 7 matches to qualify for the playoffs. So, Kasaragod coliseum is our home ground. So, I understood that home ground luck was involved in us qualifying for the playoffs. In the playoffs we won all the matches to qualify for the Durand cup.

The Durand cup days

So, in the Durand cup we qualified for the 2023/24 addition. So, our first game was against Kerala blasters. We managed to defeat them 2-1. So, we have +1 goal difference. And our next game is against round glass Punjab fc. Which we won 5-0 so we have +6 goal difference. In my next game we play the mighty Bengaluru fc which ended 0-0. So, we qualified at the top along with Bengaluru fc. I was shocked that my team started playing too well all of a sudden. And to my surprise our boy pushpak Singh won the golden boot and was the top scorer in the tournament. And also, was surprised to know that our fans the Kasaragod army was named the best fanbase of the tournament. Even our stadium The Kasaragod coliseum was named the best stadium for the atmosphere the stadium provided during the tournament. As I was preparing my team for the next season our first season in the AFC champions league. I received an email that our rivals, wait I haven’t told you about my club’s rivals yet right. We have a dual rivalry. One with Kannur maharajas and the other with Mangalore mavericks. I heard that they both along with he AFC Asia cup days

Al Nasr, Al ittihad and Al batin had qualified for the AFC champions league. So, our first match was a away match against our rivals Kannur Maharajas. So, our match kicked off against Kannur Maharajas at Maharaja Arena our rival’s home. It had fierce tackles red cards yellow cards etc. it gave me a real football derby vibe. We managed to beat Kannur Maharajas at their home turf 3-0. A hattrick by Dayanand Singh. Our 2nd match was against Mangalore mavericks away again. At The Mangalore colosseum it also had red cards yellow cards fierce tackles etc. We managed to beat them 5-0. a hattrick by Pushpak Singh. We played al Nasr away next at the Al Nasr Arena sadly we lost 2-0. Our next away game was against al ittihad at the al Ittihad coliseum we lost 1-0. Our final away match was against Al batin at the Al batin Arena. We lost 2-1. So, we managed to beat all the teams in our home fixtures. We beat Mangalore mavericks 4-0. Kannur maharajas 6-0 Al Nasr 5-0. Al ittihad 3-1 and al batin 6-1. So, we qualified for the AFC Asia cup with + 38 goal difference.

So, our first match in the AFC Asia cup was against India at the Punjab Coliseum which we managed to win 3-0. Our next game was against China at the Dragon Arena, we defeated them 4-0. Our next game was against Oman which we won 6-0 at the sultan Qaboos stadium. We played the quarter final against Kuwait national team which we drew 0-0 and won 5-1 on penalties. At the Jaber al Ahmed international stadium. We played the final against Bahrain at the Bahrain national stadium which was a close one but we lost1-0. So, we qualified as runners up to Bahrain.The I

League Days

we qualified for I league after 7 months of training we did qualify for the I league. In which we won 8 games and lost 2 of our remaining games. So, we qualified to the hero isl. But there was a bad news awaiting me. The bad news will be revealed in the next story. But let me put up a teaser here. One of Kasaragod warrior’s midfielder is out for 4 months.

Hero isl days and injury crisis

We qualified for the hero isl but with a cost. Our star midfielder who had assisted all our goals Omar Singh is injured and is out for 4 months due to acl injury. The next 4 months were testing for the team as they played 8 matches out of 13 and won 6. But the rest 7 along with the return of Omar Singh had ensured we qualified to the UEFA Europa conference league. But the next surprise for me was waiting on hearing that I was shocked and sad at the same time. So, let’s find out what that shocking news was in the next chapter. I hope it is a less grieving news.

Europe, a shocking betrayal and also debt.

We qualified for the Europa conference league. But just as we were celebrating that achievement Dayanand Singh came to us and told us that Pushpak laal Singh had joined Mangalore Mavericks and also Omar laal Singh had joined Kannur Maharajas. We later found out that both Mangalore Mavericks and Kannur Maharajas had qualified for Europa conference league. So, to avenge our loss we had told our keeper amrender and Dayanand Singh to tackle and not seriously injure both Omar Singh and Pushpak laal Singh. As they had loaned to Mangalore Mavericks and Kannur Maharajas. So we topped our group knocked out shaktar Donetsk in the round of 16 and we had also knocked out Celtic in the quarter finals. We had knocked out even rangers in the semifinal. We won the final 4-0 defeating the Mangalore Mavericks. The Mangalore Mavericks had even defeated The Kannur Maharajas in the 3 rd place match 6-

0. We even had no money as we had broken rules for not paying Mangalore Mavericks and Kannur Maharajas for signing both Vignesh Dakshina Murthy and also Gurpreet Mahaveer Sandhu.

Return to the club and wipeout of debt.

Both Omar Singh and Pushpak Laal Singh had returned to the club and even Sahal samad and Gurpreet had joined the Kasaragod Mavericks. And Gurpreet made his debut in the UEFA Europa league. And we topped our group defeating Arsenal, Man city and Chelsea in our group. We even defeated RB Leipzig in the Europa league final. But we had decided to change our owners the Malabar Gold and diamonds. We had opted for a foreign investment. That’s when sheikh Mohammadu Jasim brought our club that is we were debt free. And playing champions league next season. So, let’s see what our champions league fate was in the next chapter.

European elite competition

We were in the champions league. It was a record-breaking night for Kasaragod warriors. They were in the champions league. It was the first ever time an Indian club had promoted into the champions league. And we won all our games and even signed Erling Haaland Mohammadu. We even won the champions league final at the Chandrasekaran Namboothiri national stadium.

Our club legends of Kasaragod warriors are Omar laal Singh, pushpak laal Singh and Dayanand Singh.

Legends match

We played in the legends match Honoring Omar laal Singh, Pushpak laal Singh and Dayanand Singh. We played against Wayne Rooney Led Dinajpur United Football club we won the 5-0 in which Omar Singh scored a hattrick pushpak laal Singh scored a brace and Dayanand Singh scored a goal.

Farewell coach

I bid my adieu(goodbye) to the crowd in the Kasaragod arena on 4/3/2028. Infront of 1,000 spectators and thanked them for their immense support throughout the season and during our tough times. It was hard to bid farewell to such an amazing support and also it was hard for me to hold back my emotion.
