Why is product labeling necessary?

The labeling of products should always be carried out with great care. But why is this mindfulness necessary at all? The customer must already be informed about the product on the basis of a product label before unpacking. This is because the labeling of different products, with information such as hazard symbols, represents a precautionary measure by means of which accidents can easily be avoided. Although different labeling rules apply depending on the product and location, the requirement that such product labeling must be present in every case is the same everywhere. Without this, both the distributor and the customer would not be clear about the goods and could not treat them accordingly and, if necessary, accept them carefully. For this reason, it is important to be aware of its content before looking at the actual product, be it chemicals, food or cosmetics.
