New HACSU staff – James Milligan

I’M JAMES, HACSU’s new Legal Officer.

After finishing my law degree and legal training in Melbourne, I moved to Tasmania to work as an industrial officer. I’ve always practised in industrial relations law, working in organising and industrial roles at the United Workers Union, National Union of Workers, and the ACTU. I’m passionate about workplace rights and community solidarity, so I’m excited to be part of the HACSU family. On a given weekend, you’ll find me hiking in Tasmania’s wilderness, enjoying a meal with friends or dancing at the discotheque. I look forward to working with HACSU members to ensure that Tasmanian workers win permanently. In solidarity.
