Season 2015-16 brings you an exciting and eclectic mix of professional dance, theatre and music events. It’s a season of signature shows – from the start of the season with the music and comedy “dragapella” of the Kinsey Sicks to the closing performance featuring the wonderful and wacky theatre improv comedy revue of The Second City. Also included is the return of the amazing Aquila Theatre Company as they bring to the stage the world famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, in “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.” Dance events are sure to delight and dazzle, with Rioult Dance NY’s “Recovery and Resiliency” and the powerful and physical dance of PHILADANCO from Philadelphia. Founded in 1994, RIOULT Dance NY has become a firmly established name in the world of modern dance. This New York-based company has secured a reputation for the sensual, articulate and exquisitely musical works of founder, Pascal Rioult. It is the night before Christmas in a farmhouse in the remote area of Western Ireland. Neighbors are gathered around the fire to share the laughter of stories and the joy of music and dance. Spend an evening with Tomáseen Foley, a gifted actor and storyteller, as he celebrates the season with stories, music, song and dance. The show features the internationally acclaimed talents of William Coulter, Kathleen Keane, Brian Bigley, Ellis Kennedy and world champion Irish step dancer Philip Brady. The performance will also feature our own local talent with the McGinley Irish dancers on stage.

The Second City
A modern mix of romance, rancor and everything in between, “Hooking Up with The Second City” is a gaspingly funny revue that makes mirth out of missed connections, girls’ night out and all the crazy things we do for love. The alumni of The Second City are a who’s who of comics old and new. Joan Rivers, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and many more got their start with this funny and famous improv theatre troupe.

All events take place in the Auditorium Theatre of the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus. All events are RESERVED SEATING. Same seats cannot be guaranteed for every show. Advance ticket purchasing is HIGHLY recommended. Many performances sell out in advance. If you do not prefer to buy in advance, please call the Box Office before the event to determine ticket availability.
HACC students and employees with current ID are eligible for discounts (one ticket per employee/student, please). Please note there are some events with no discount. Everyone in attendance must have a ticket regardless of age. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Out of respect to all patrons, we discourage bringing infants to any performance. No refunds are issued, but unused tickets can be donated to Live at Rose Lehrman.
Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. Checks (made payable to HACC) must be received at least FIVE BUSINESS DAYS prior to the performance.

Live at Rose Lehrman is More Than A Show! When you attend a Live at Rose Lehrman performance, you get “more than a show.� Our series proudly provides a wide variety of added programs as a part of most artists’ engagements. While our performers are here, we do all that we can to connect them to our community. Throughout the season, we offer workshops, pre- and postshow lectures, meet and greet the artist events, talkbacks from the stage and more. We often take professional performers into schools and community centers to interact with students and participants. Artists love sharing their skills in special hands-on workshops and discussing career goals with students studying the arts. Theatre and dance master classes are regularly offered to students and community members. These artist residencies give participants a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from arts professionals who have achieved success in their fields. Most pre- and post-show events are offered free to ticket holders as part of our commitment to providing audience enrichment and education. 13

A hopelessly romantic drama about the hopelessness of romance, Reasons To Be Pretty is a gorgeous play.
