Communication

Should you need to communicate with your child’s class teacher, please do so via email. Due to teaching commitments throughout the day, please be aware that emails may not be read and / or responded to immediately and therefore, if your communication is urgent, please also call the Junior School Office on 0208 266 2400. Please also note that emails will not be responded to over weekends or during holiday periods.

Every Friday parents will receive a weekly digital newsletter called Habs Weekly, which will be sent to you through Firefly. Firefly is our parent portal; you will be sent your log in details in July.

The Junior School often utilises Twitter and posts tweets, comments and pictures which share daily school life. Follow us at @habsgirlsJunior.

Rainbow learning journeys and observations

We will be making observations of the pupils’ learning through the digital platform, Tapestry. This allows observations of your child to be communicated directly with you on the day that they are made; it also has facility for parents to add comments to their child’s observation. These observations help inform next steps for planning. Log in details will be shared with you at the start of the Autumn Term.
