Music

Music at Habs is exceptional both in its quality and its breadth of opportunity. It is central to life in our school, with over 450 students taking instrumental music lessons, and over 60 ensembles running every week.

Through music you have the opportunity to create memories that may come to define your time at the school; performing in concerts, collaborating with friends, tackling the most ambitious repertoire, and having fun through the process.

In the last year we have recorded at Abbey Road Studios, performed at a major London concert hall, hosted music festivals, and taken part in national competitions. We are excited to be working ever closer with the girls’ school, feeling the immense benefits of being a part of this extended community.

Learning a musical instrument is the gateway to many wonderful opportunities in the Music School. We are proud to have an exceptional team of Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) who provide expert tuition on a wide range of instruments.
