Homework

They will not be given homework for the first couple of weeks. There is a lot of new information to take in so when your child’s teachers feel they are ready, they will be given homework. They will be given a small, yellow book which they need to keep in their blazer pocket. This book is for noting down any messages that their teacher gives them, as well as homework tasks and going home arrangements. There will also be reading to practise and spellings to learn. When your child does their homework, please sign it and write down how long it took them.

Parents or guardians can also write messages for teachers on the special notes pages of the book. Parents and guardians must sign the homework book every day and teachers will then check it at school.
