Description: Do you want a chance to be creative? Then join Creative Kid! Develop your confidence and creativity through stories, movement, singing and other fun activities. Whether you want to laugh, sing, dance or perform, you can do it all.

Please note: This activity will be run in collaboration with Habs’ Boys Prep although takes place at the Girls’ Junior School so pick up is from the Junior School playground. There will be a performance to parents in the final session.

Description: Join Mr Patel, a qualified karate instructor, for Karate after school on Wednesday. Perfect for those who have already attended karate or have some experience of martial arts and those new to the sport. As well as learning fundamental karate skills, you may even get the opportunity to progress onto your next colour belt!

Please note: You may wear a karate gi once you have achieved a blue belt.

Description: An opportunity to develop gymnastics skills on the floor and vault, with the chance to prepare for school gymnastics competitions. Trials for Gym Squad will take place at the start of the Autumn Term and successful pupils will participate in Gym Squad for the whole academic year. Get cartwheeling! Please note: This activity is by selection and details of trials will be shared in the newsletter and communicated to pupils at the start of next term. Collection will be from the Boys’ Prep School reception.

KS2 BALLET*

Description: Learn the game of chess and begin to develop your strategic play as you challenge your friends to games. With Mr D’Costa, you may have the opportunity to enter competitions in the National Primary Schools Chess Championships. Additionally, you could enjoy Mr D’Costa’s ‘She Plays To Win’ UK Girls chess project, which has a half termly UK Primary Girls Online Chess League. Description: At Ballet, pupils are given an opportunity to develop their fine motor skills, discipline, core stability and coordination in an enjoyable way, through dancing! Royal Academy of Dance ballet teacher, Georgia Yiannakas, will be teaching a mixture of the RAD syllabi, as well as some free performance work each week, so this activity is suitable whether you have done ballet before or not. At the end of term, parents will be invited to watch in the final session.

Details of this will be shared in Habs Weekly.

Please note: This activity is in collaboration with Habs’ Boys Prep and pick up is from the Girls’ Junior School playground. Priority will be given to those pupils who attended in the Summer term.
