Airlangga University Veterinary Interior Design with Biophilic Concept

In the development of today's lifestyle, domesticated animals experience pain and require special care just like humans. Therefore, veterinary hospitals play an important role as a place of service and handling of veterinary medical services. Veterinary Clinic Faculty of Veterinarian Airlangga University is one of the hospitals that serves the community in the field of animal health. The purpose of building a veterinary hospital is not only material-oriented and becoming a public facility but also as an educational tool for the community. In addition, the purpose of the veterinary hospital itself is to improve the economy and increase employment for veterinary medical personnel. In designing the interior design of this animal hospital, it requires a redesign that focuses on room conditions. Currently, the condition of the space is not optimal because some facilities have been damaged and a lot of free space has not been optimized according to the needs of RSHP users. Conditions like this can psychologically suppress the level of stress and anxiety experienced by patients and visitors, as well as the manager of this animal hospital. Anxiety, stress, and depression that arise from psychological influences due to poor environmental quality can make you vulnerable and weak mentally and physically.
