It will consist of rustic walkways, native hedgerow and shrubbery, scenic sculptures and natural seating which will surround a wildlife meadow and pond. The nature garden aims to help families disconnect from their busy lives and connect with nature. See page 13 for further details.

142 species of bird have now been recorded at Silverlake. At least 9 of the regularly recorded species are Red-listed birds of conservation concern. A sand face has been retained on-site, in the center of Shepperd’s View and built into the development to preserve the nesting habitat for Sand martins who arrive every year from Africa to breed at Silverlake. We have also just installed artificial sand martin nesting boxes to provide extra nesting space. In 2019 over 250 pairs nested in the sand face. We are furthering our commitment to creating a natural habitat for more species to thrive, with the development of our nature garden.

COMING IN 2024 Luxury Eco-friendly Al Fresco Spa

Now is a unique time to invest at Silverlake, following the announcement of our new alfresco spa an opportunity to experience a spa like no other. Bringing alfresco living to life. The spa will have an indoor and outdoor pool, sixteen lakeside treatment rooms and four lakeside cabanas.
