To our valued customers I would like to extend the offer of customizing classes to fit your needs.
We at Habegger are constantly trying to bring you the right training programs at the correct time of the year for your needs.
I am sure that you will find a course or courses in this catalog that someone in your organization will benefit from.
Even so we know that you may have needs that are not met by the courses listed in the catalog. When that is the case please email me at daleenders@habeggercorp.com or call my cell phone at 412.694.6246 to discuss customizing a program for your company. We will be glad to customize a course or courses to fit your needs. When necessary we can bring in other trainers and or our vendor partners to do training for you when needed.
I would also like to point out that most of our evening programs are not brand specific and are geared to general HVAC service and installation. For these we charge $79 per student for most programs. We would like to offer the HVAC Contractor owner a discount of bringing two employees at no charge when the owner pays the regular price of $79 for their own seat and stays until the course is complete.
One other thought I would like to leave you with is that you may not be getting a good ROI on some trainings you are sending your employees too. I know that training is an investment but what often happens is the employees that attend are not always sure how or even if they should apply what they learn in a class to your company you have worked so hard to build. The best way to correct this is to send a decision maker from your company along with them to the training. They can guide your employees on how or even whether to incorporate the new techniques and procedures they are learning. They {your decision makers} will then be better geared to help you choose which programs to invest in if they are at the programs themselves. You may have some of your own questions or ideas on training you would like to discuss with me. I would love to hear from you about that.

Class Objective: Students will learn about the correct safety procedures of working with R454B. We will also cover the technical aspects of installation and service with this refrigerant. Continental breakfast provided.

Class Topic: Mitsubishi M&P Field Service
Class Objective: Students will learn how application and installation of Mitsubishi M&P products along with how to use Linkdrive and the MXZ design tool.

Class Topic: Furnace Inspection
Class Objective:
Students will learn how to evaluate the installation per National Fuel Gas code in regards to combustion air. They will learn how flame rectification safely circuits work and several techniques for determining if a heat exchanger failure has occured.

This class is designed for:
Anyone who has the responsibility of performing the annual safety check and cleaning of gas fired forced air heating equipment. This class will have some demonstrations with limited hands on.

Class Topic: Basic Electric for HVAC
Class Objective:
This program will take new HVAC professionals from the service panel into the furnace through the door switch to the transformer then the thermostat and back to the control board then out to the contactor.
Students should bring their own multi-meter. They will learn how to use it.
During this early morning class your employees will get hands on meter readings giving them experience on 24 volt, 115 volt, and 230 volt circuits.
They will learn how to determine if the correct power is present and whether the ground is correct.
This is a short program with focus on understanding proper electrical supply and nothing more.
The program will commence early morning 8am sharp when your employees are their freshest.
The program will conclude by 9:30am allowing them time to get to their job assignments for the rest of their day.

Class Topic: Heat Pump Checkout
Class Objective: Students will learn how to properly evaluate Heat Pump performance across the operating range. Time temperature defrost controls will also be covered.

Class Topic: Elite Dealer Overview
Class Objective: This program is a recurring class that focuses on both new Comfortmaker products and design changes as well as the most relevant technical topics of the year.
This year will focus on the new Near Field Contact Control, the 18 speed blower motors, R454B and ICP Ductless and Crossover equipment as well as relevant technical topics from recent times.

Class Objective: This class will focus on the proper testing procedures with a combustion analyzer in the vent, the combustion box and the air stream.
Students may bring their own analyzers to the program
