Technical Training Cancellation Policy
Payment is due at the time of registration. You may cancel a registration up to 3 days before the course start date for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of a class or for no-shows. Walk-ins will be charged $25/person in addition to any class fees. Attendee substitutions will be allowed with no penalty. Class dates are subject to change and The Habegger Corporation reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or illness. Students can enroll in the next class or will be offered a refund. In the event of a cancellation, class participants will be notified within 48 hours of the scheduled class time. The Habegger Corporation is not responsible for any travel costs related to a class cancellation.
Private Company Training Policy
Private company training available with minimum of 6 people for 2 hours. Training will be held at the branch and course fee applies. Contractor to submit training objectives 2 weeks prior to scheduling. Call for scheduling date and time.
COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
The Habegger Corporation continues to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 and reserves the right to cancel training at any time if warranted for the health and safety of our employees and customers.
Precautions will be made at training events by social distancing attendees (6 feet apart), providing hand sanitizer at all training sessions, cleaning training areas every 4 hours, and the use of face masks is encouraged and will follow government orders for each state. We ask that you do not attend any training sessions if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, fever, loss of taste/smell, any flu like symptoms, or if you have been in close contact with any person confirmed with COVID-19 within the past 2 weeks.

Class Overview:
The objective is for entry-level technicians/installer to be able to wire and set up the 38MURA/DLCURA condenser to a 40MUAA air handler and conventional furnaces and conventional air handlers.
To give small wiring hands on project to install 3 different combinations of ductless. Then touch on the basics of servicing and troubleshooting the ductless product and its combinations.

Class Topic: Heat Pumps
Class Level: Beginner - Intermediate
Class Objective: At the completion of this course, technicians will be able evaluate the performance of a residential heat pump.
Class Overview: The course will examine the principles of the refrigeration cycle and heat pump components. Heat pumps in our climate are installed either as dual fuel, auxiliary heat, or geothermal; each of which have similarities but different. As technology advances, the tools of the industry are making the diagnosing much more accurate and proficient.
Technicians will learn how to calculate the compressor BTU output and compare it to the performance data, identify balance point, and calculate CFM.

Advancements in technology have revolutionized the way HVAC systems are designed, installed, commissioned, operated, and maintained. measureQuick removes the technicians opinion and relies of the data for system operation, diagnoses, data collecting, and remote support. Habegger customers who use measureQuick can stream live data to the service managers for technical support.

Class Topic: Roof Top Service Training
Class Level: Beginner – intermediate
Class Objective: At the completion of this course, technicians will be able to identify the electrical sequence of operation, components that distinguish different RTU’s, and control methods for accessories.
Class Overview: The course begins with an overview of the current and past product line. In particular, participates will be able to troubleshoot the electrical components of each product line, such as; VFD verses analog. Commercial equipment has more accessories that need to be controlled to have the maximum efficiency, hence why a residential thermostat should not be used on a RTU. Participants will evaluate the controls sequence between a residential and commercial thermostat and recognize the cost benefits for the end user. Finally, participants will calculate and compare CFM to the manufacture data.

Class Topic: Hands-On RTU Service Training
Class Level: Intermediate – advance
Class Objective: Technician proficiency is an integration between hands-on and interaction with the manufacture literature.
Class Overview: The course evaluates how the components function, common causes of failures, and the importance of data documenting. Participants will interact with each control system, Electromechanical, RTU Open, SystemVu, and CCN, and modify configurations per the manufacture literature. This advance class will not troubleshoot components, but recognize methods of using nontypical tools to verify component operations, such as, analog power generator.
This will be a mandatory class for any contractor who is seeking the ability to perform factory startup and warranty labor.

Class Overview: Designed to allow a company to develop a business and operating plan for the year ahead. While a company plan will consist of a Financial plan, Marketing Plan, Production Plan, and a Human Resources Plan, we will focus on the financial plan components in this one-day workshop.
We will create a working budget that transcends a onetime budget and becomes an operating platform for your company. We will also design a lead forecast, sales, sales closure rates, estimated marketing budget to create those leads, and a forecast for labor and crews, techs and maintenance.
We will review all methods of pricing, as well as consumer promotions for your slower transition shoulder seasons, a break-even calculation, and how to be sure we are making a profit and positive cash flow in any given period.
Prerequisites for class: this is a work-shop/participation class: dealers should bring their laptop and have their 2022/2023 YTD financials and budget available to help you build a budget in 2024.
