HABEGGER CORPORATION SPRING 2023 TRAINING SCHEDULE

Technical Training Cancellation Policy

Payment is due at the time of registration. You may cancel a registration up to 3 days before the course start date for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of a class or for no-shows. Walk-ins will be charged $25/person in addition to any class fees. Attendee substitutions will be allowed with no penalty. Class dates are subject to change and The Habegger Corporation reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or illness. Students can enroll in the next class or will be offered a refund. In the event of a cancellation, class participants will be notified within 48 hours of the scheduled class time. The Habegger Corporation is not responsible for any travel costs related to a class cancellation.

Private Company Training Policy

Private company training available with minimum of 6 people for 2 hours. Training will be held at the branch and course fee applies. Contractor to submit training objectives 2 weeks prior to scheduling. Call for scheduling date and time.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

The Habegger Corporation continues to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 and reserves the right to cancel training at any time if warranted for the health and safety of our employees and customers.

Precautions will be made at training events by social distancing attendees (6 feet apart), providing hand sanitizer at all training sessions, cleaning training areas every 4 hours, and the use of face masks is encouraged and will follow government orders for each state. We ask that you do not attend any training sessions if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, fever, loss of taste/smell, any flu like symptoms, or if you have been in close contact with any person confirmed with COVID-19 within the past 2 weeks.

Course Level: Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced

Course Cost: NATE Core - $150 | NATE Specialty Exam - $150 | EPA 608 - $50

Class Level: Service / maintenance technicians and Installers

Course Tools to Bring: Laptop computer required (cannot substitute for a smart phone / iPad / tablet), pen, paper and calculator.

Exam Time: All NATE/EPA 608 will be proctored 12-4pm

Review: (virtual) no additional charge for review session. 10/12 – Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps, 10/13 – Gas Furnaces

Class Topic: ABC’s of Comfort Cooling including R-454B

Class Level: Beginner - seasoned

Class Objective: At the completion of the course, technicians will analyze the refrigeration circuit under specific conditions for optimal efficiency.

Class Overview:

The course begins by evaluating the effect of airflow on the refrigeration circuit, recognizing the importance of airflow, and selecting the correct blower speed.

“Hands-on” training is important! Once a technicians is capable of connecting instruments to a system, such as gauges and temperature probes, the diagnoses depends on interpreting data from instruments. This course uses live data that has been recorded and superimposed into a training simulator to identify deficiencies with the data. The course will improve technicians skills that can be applied immediately in the field.

Note: this course will not practice the “Hands-on” approach to refrigeration. It is assumed that all technicians attending this course can safely install gauges and instruments.

Class Topic: Residential Equipment Install, Maintenance and Start-Up

Class Level: Intermediate

Class Objective: To give a clear partial hands on path of procedures to follow to service and install professionally.

Class Overview: This class is a must for both the new and the seasoned installer and technician. In this six hour training, Rob Young and Roman Krywyn deliver fast paced, hands on instruction covering: factory recommended maintenance processes along with creating a score card of unit efficiency.

- New installation set up, including covering dip switch set up

- Attendees will receive their own ductulator and learn how to best use this tool to determine airflow parameters and to troubleshoot airflow issues

- Troubleshooting the most common issues with coil configuration and the top ten most common fault codes

- Increasing opportunities while performing maintenance checks

- Upcoming NFC technology in the 2023 furnace product line.

Class Level: Beginner – intermediate

(Inverter Drive) Trouble Shooting

Class Objective: At the completion of this training attendees will be able to diagnose the most common issues on an inverter drive condenser.

Class Overview: How does an inverter drive condenser differ from a traditional single/dual stage condenser? After analyzing the primary components with troubleshooting diagnostic techniques, this training will focus on:

- Common troubleshooting codes

- Communicating thermostat set up, troubleshooting, and how to prevent the most common call back issues

This class has interactive segments where attendees can practice hands on troubleshooting on select components
