

Payment is due at the time of registration. You may cancel a registration up to 3 days before the course start date for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of a class or for no-shows. Walk-ins will be charged $25/person in addition to any class fees. Class Topic: ABC’s of Comfort Cooling including R-454B
Class Level: Beginner - seasoned
Class Objective: At the completion of the course, technicians will analyze the refrigeration circuit under specific conditions for optimal efficiency.
Class Overview:
The course begins by evaluating the effect of airflow on the refrigeration circuit, recognizing the importance of airflow, and selecting the correct blower speed.
“Hands-on” training is important! Once a technicians is capable of connecting instruments to a system, such as gauges and temperature probes, the diagnoses depends on interpreting data from instruments. This course uses live data that has been recorded and superimposed into a training simulator to identify deficiencies with the data. The course will improve technicians skills that can be applied immediately in the field.
Note: this course will not practice the “Hands-on” approach to refrigeration. It is assumed that all technicians attending this course can safely install gauges and instruments.

Class Topic: Residential Equipment Install, Maintenance and Start-Up
Class Level: Intermediate
Class Objective: To give a clear partial hands on path of procedures to follow to service and install professionally.
Class Overview: This class is a must for both the new and the seasoned installer and technician. In this six hour training, Rob Young and Roman Krywyn deliver fast paced, hands on instruction covering: factory recommended maintenance processes along with creating a score card of unit efficiency.
- New installation set up, including covering dip switch set up
- Attendees will receive their own ductulator and learn how to best use this tool to determine airflow parameters and to troubleshoot airflow issues
