EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Many HVAC companies only require a high school diploma to qualify for immediate employment
• No formal education is required. In many areas contractors will provide on-the-job training in a lot of cases
• A technical college’s one-year certificate or two-year Associate Degree program is all that is necessary to gain the fundamental knowledge to more confidently begin a career in HVAC
• Many HVAC companies will help pay for an employee’s technical education. Many programs offer night classes which allows students to earn a great income and get their industry education at the same time!
