The geological characteristics of the chosen site of the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area in Sudbury, Ontario, are the result of the glaciation which took part many years ago. The concept of this design is an abstract representation of the site’s history. The building is covered with vegetation and reflects the grooves of the rocks made by the glaciers. The perforated metal facade and wavy skin of the building reflect the characteristics of a glacier and the luminous CLT structure inside suggests a modern and natural touch.

Les caractéristiques géologiques du site choisi pour l’aire de conservation du lac Laurentien à Sudbury, en Ontario, sont le résultat de la glaciation qui a eu lieu il y a de nombreuses années. Le concept de cette conception est une représentation abstraite de l’histoire du site. Le bâtiment est recouvert de végétation et reflète les rainures des rochers creusées par les glaciers. La façade métallique perforée et la peau ondulée du bâtiment reflètent les caractéristiques d’un glacier et la structure CLT lumineuse à l’intérieur suggère une touche moderne et naturelle.
