Trying something new, taking the first step, whether courageously, cautiously or at times even rashly – the point is to dare! In the new Annual Report you’ll meet people who, as students or employees of the H-BRS, have dared to take on a wide variety of challenges. They follow new paths in teaching through peer coaching; they possess the drive to take on a degree course despite a double burden, through involvement in competitive sports for instance; enter uncharted territory with a scientific research project, or break new ground as a construction project coordinator.
Following “Think” and “Doubting”, “Dare” is the final step in our trilogy of Annual Reports. In this publication we also explore the relationship of science and society to civic education and democracy. Thomas Krüger, President of the Federal Agency for Civic Education and University President Hartmut Ihne discuss this topic in the Annual Report.
