United States Ambassador to Guyana Perry Holloway hosted a luncheon recently for the 2017 Youth Ambassadors who returned home from a three-week exchange program to the United States. The youths spoke of their experience, which included the opportunity to explore new approaches to leadership development through critical thinking, participate in volunteer activities, network and build relations through cross-cultural communication, experience American culture and meet with officials from the U.S. Department of State and Guyana Embassy in Washington. Representing Guyana were Sarah Dos Ramos, Claudia Garraway, Omar Hoppie, Shafeena Milton, Vishani Ragobeer, Ayodele Roache, and Jacqueline Johnson – Mentor.
