US Ambassador Sarah-Ann Lynch visited Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) and met with officials from the Regional Democratic Council, Regional Police, Mayor’s office, and the regional hospital. Ambassador Lynch engaged stakeholders on discussions about the infrastructure, security, green economy, and social services of Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Noting the appeal for tourists in the region, Ambassador Lynch remarked, “It is great to see Bartica playing its part in the preservation of Guyana’s natural wealth and beauty in pursuing sustainable tourism.
