ome this Sunday, a new Mister and Miss Guyana Talented Teen will be crowned as the pageant is held at the National Cultural Centre (NCC). The 13 delegates are putting together their final pieces to wow the audience. At the launch of the pageant, the delegates all indicated that they are an intelligent bunch and were ready for stiff competition. They all possess charm, swag and uniqueness which they will use to win the judges’ hearts and more so, the audience. Those competing for the title of Miss Guyana Talented Teen are Akeila Dey sponsored by Y&J International; Breana Nicholas sponsored by Glow International Hotel; Felicia Sears sponsored by Miss Williams Digital; Kimberly Sattaur sponsored by Sattaur Enterprises and Genesis Trading; Lianna Williams sponsored by the Thom Family; and Miss Grand Coastal Inn, Rissa Sooklal. In the male line-up are Daniel Ifill sponsored by Brant Enterprises; Delroy Walcott sponsored by Walcott Enterprises; Desmond Fernandes sponsored by Atlantic Imports; Meshack Anthony Howard sponsored by Alphonso Enterprises; Mikel Andrews sponsored by Blue Mountain Resort; Mikhail Rampersaud sponsored by Creative Image and Stephen Validum sponsored by Guyanese designer Randy Madray. The delegates will compete in various segments including talent, evening wear, intelligence and their sportswear. They were also judged on several aspects of the competition before the grand finale. Those scores will be tallied with the final scores of pageant night, determining the new Miss and Mister Guyana Talented Teen. Tickets for the pageant cost $2000, $1500 and $1000 and are available at the NCC or from contestants and pageant organisers. Showtime is 20:00h.
